For Frank Lampard, goalkeeper Kepa still has space at Chelsea. Despite admitting that the archer is going through a difficult time, the commander believes that the criticisms of the 25-year-old are “unfair”. Reserve since failure in the defeat to Liverpool, by 2-0, by the English Championship, the goalkeeper has been something of criticism and can be loaned. Lampard, however, avoided saying that Kepa played his last game for the English team.

“Kepa is a young man and much of the prominence about him has become a little unfair. I have to protect him because I know he is good, he plays with absolute professionalism, and with the intention of doing the best he can like all squad has done. That’s all I want to say about him now”, said the coach.

Kepa arrived in England in 2018, as the most expensive goalkeeper in the world, to replace Courtois, who had agreed with Real Madrid. Irregular performances, however, made the Spaniard the target of fans and the local press.
